Custom Java Edition clients are not Bedrock Edition clients. Confirm the actual ShoreSMP Client requirements before changing an existing game setup.

Use legitimate Minecraft installation sources.
Do not enter your Microsoft password into a third-party client website.
Check the supported version before installing mods or moving files.
Keep backups of important worlds and profiles before modifying game files.
