Follow the guide in order. Because no tested installer has been published yet, release-dependent steps are clearly marked instead of guessing about requirements or installation files.
Choose your operating system.
Select a platform to view its current status. None is listed as supported until a build is available and tested.
No Windows installer has been published. Once a tested build is available, instructions will specify the correct installer type and any required approval prompts.
Check what the release needs.
These specifications must come from the actual client build; they are not yet available.
Do not install extra Java runtimes or delete existing game folders based on assumptions. Check this page again when the release requirements are published.
Install the correct Minecraft edition.
ShoreSMP Client is being presented as a Java Edition client project. Its actual release compatibility remains unconfirmed.
- Get the official Minecraft Launcher from the official Minecraft download page ↗.
- Sign in through the official launcher and install a legitimate Minecraft Java Edition version you own.
- Open the launcher and check which Java Edition installations are available.
- Do not assume Bedrock Edition is supported. Java and Bedrock use different client ecosystems.
Never share your Microsoft password with ShoreSMP Client or any third-party website.
Install ShoreSMP Client.
The actual installer format is not configured, so there are no safe install commands or package-specific steps to provide yet.
When the release is ready, this step will explain the real download filename, verified publisher/signature information where available, required prompts, destination, and how the client keeps its files organized.
Do not run files from unofficial mirrors or follow install instructions that require disabling security protection.
Open the client and play.
The desktop launch flow is not available yet. The web launcher preview is an illustrative design and does not launch Minecraft.
- Download the installer from the official release page once it is published.
- Follow the release-specific install guide.
- Open ShoreSMP Client using the installed application.
- Choose only a Minecraft version explicitly listed as compatible by that release.
Do not move Minecraft libraries, authentication files, or existing profile folders unless the official installer instructions specifically require it.
